Even though I want to go to Vegas this weekend for a nice little solo vacation, as a family we are still trying to plan our normal Spring vacation. So far it looks like we are going to go for Sea Pines rentals this year. We thought about doing it last year too but for some reason we didn’t. But, this year it looks great and it is perfect for our budget. Actually, it’s probably going to be a little bit yes, and that’s never a bad thing.

It has been a really crazy last couple of weeks. Work has been insnane and it’s been just about as crazy at home too. I just want a vacation at this point. I want to call and make a Vegas hotel reservation, and just go. Spend a few days there, and a few dollars at the tables. Then come back home nice and refreshed. It’s worked before, so I wouldn’t mind doing it again. I just want to get away for just a few days to clear my head, and maybe clear my bank account if my luck is as bad as it was last time I was there. Hopefully that part wont happen though.

I think a couple friends of mine have decided to go on vacation together this summer. So we have started looking at Las Vegas hotels for us to stay in. There are so many to pick from, so we have a huge decision to make.  We know we want to stay on the strip but there are even so many right there on the strip that lord knows it will still be difficult to decide.  Of course I have been nominated to make all the arrangements, so I will have to decide what we are going to do.

My dad and step mom just came back from another vacation. This time they went to Tennessee. It was the 3rd they had been on since July. So it had me thinking, that I wanted to go on vacation. So I started looking into some Pigeon Forge cabin rentals. I have not been there in so long. I think it would be great to get away from everything and just relax for a little while.

So I just got back from vacation and I wanted to brag about how great our Condo Hotels were. We traveled down the coast and went to a couple. They were beautiful and the people were so nice everywhere we went.  I am so happy we all got away and had a great time.  I am glad to be home though.  Tanned and relaxed, and now more focused on things back here at home.

Vacation was so much fun.  I’m glad to be home though.  The beach was beautiful but there is something about sleeping in your own bed that is so needed.

I think I have finally decided on my vacation for this fall. I am going to book us this really nice Virginia bed and breakfast. I have personally never been there, but my mom has a couple of times, and all the pictures she has shown me look great. I thought we were going to do something else, but I really think I want something really laid back and relaxing. That will be the best get away for us right now. Our days are too long and crazy already, no need to do that on vacation too. That would defeat the whole point, I think.

Well, my sister finally did it. She has been looking into Orlando real estate for quite some time now. For so long that I just figured that it was never actually going to happen. It kinda became like the boy who cried wolf. She kept telling us about all these great deals she could get, but never actually acted on any of them. She just saying ‘I know I can get something for a better price’. Well, turns out she did, and she jumped right on it. I’m so proud of her, she actually did a great job with the buy. It will be sad to see her move, but really nice to have another place to stay when I go out of town.

Some of my friends just left out yesterday to spend the weekend at the Orleans hotel Las Vegas. I’m so jealous. I wasn’t able to get the time I work to go, so here I am sitting at home doing nothing. Three of them have already called me today to rub in it my face and tell me how much fun they are having. I know I would probably do that same kind of thing, but seeing as how I am not there, I don’t think it’s very nice. Next month when I go on vacation, they wont think it’s too funny, but I’m going to do that right back to them.

All this talk about vacations and trips and everything, I realized that even if I was able to go on a trip next week I wouldn’t have anything to pack my stuff into. I would have to carrying around my clothes in a plastic bag or something. So, I guess before I really get into booking any big trips I should go ahead and get things started by getting us some travelpro bags. So at least that way if I find a good deal on a trip that isn’t too far in the future I would already have everything I need to just pack up and go instead of having to do all of that in a short amount of time.
