I was talking to my cousin and we were talking about my grandpa who passed away recently. She said that she was finishing up some of the paperwork and the burial policy that we had didn’t include the funeral home costs.  The life insurance covered it, but I would think that it should have been covered without question.  I knew there was a reason it was so cheap.

Today actually marks the three year anniversary of when my brother checked himself into drug treatment. He was going through so much stuff back then it was scary. The thing is most of us didn’t even know anything was going on until he got there and was there for a week then called a couple of us to tell us where he was. We had no clue he was there. He ended up staying there for about a month, but it should have been 6 weeks, but we couldn’t afford to pay for the rest of it. I wish we would have know about other places like The Watershed. Had we know about that we could have afforded for him to stay in the whole time. But, luckily he did really well when he got out. We all helped him out and he has been clean this whole time. I do always worry about what could happen to him. I know it would be really easy for him to slip back into that kind of life, but I really do think he has got those problems kicked now. And, we are all really proud of him for that.

I was thinking about getting myself some stainless steel cabinets for my garage. Right now there isn’t much in there for me to store things in. Thing is, I’m the kind of person that hates having things all over the floor, so some actual cabenets would be awesome. I just hate having floor space taken up, then I have to walk around everything. If I could have everything put on the wall it would just be alot easier I think. It might take a little bit more effort to hang everything, and get them drilled into my walls, but in the end it would really be worth it, I think. And, stainless steel stuff just looks cool, and in the end, that’s really all that matters, right?

I could not tell you how many dvd-r’s I go through in a months time. I am weird and I like to backup just about everything on my computer. I have friends that want me to make backups of things for them, or people want me to take an old video tape and transfer it to a DVD, or some people even ask me to edit things for them and make slideshows and movies. So, needless to say I am always looking for the best prices to buy blank media. They have come down in price so much over the last couple of years since I started doing this kind of thing, but even still I want to make sure that I am getting the best prices that I can. Why should I pay more to buy them from a local retail store? That just doesn’t make any since to me at all. I guess your normal user can just pick up whatever pack and go with it, but if you used them the way I did, you would understand. But, I am pretty sure my searching has ended, I have yet to find a store anywhere that can beat the prices they have at Super Media Store.
