You all know I have been talking about investing for a while, well tonight I got more information about Wilmington NC real estate and boy is it appealing.  I need to get a little more information, but I really think this is where I need to go and start building that business for myself.  I don’t really know why I have waited for so long to do it, but there is no better time than now.

I got a call on Friday from a recruiter who saw my resume online and thought I would be a good fit for the job he needed to fill. It was a sales job selling luxury real estate. I have never sold any real estate before, but I think it would be great for me. A change of scenery might be the best thing for me right now.  I have an interview with them next week so I will get all the details and go from there.

Another thing I would like to go ahead and add to my list of stuff that I don’t really need, but I’m probably going to buy just for the simple fact that I think they are cool is a pair of 5.11 Tactical Pants. They are pants that I found on a police gear website. Obviously, I’m not a police officer, but I bet those pants are really nice and well worth the buck. They have one pair that is this really nice looking charcoal color, I think that is the one that I am going to get, for sure. Hopefully I can just put them on my Christmas list and somebody will grab them for me. Even though I’ll probably get alot of questions about why I want cop pants.

At work we are getting Signs made for the sides of all the manager’s cars.   We have found a site that is going to do them for a good price, so we are happy with the low cost advertising.  We have looked everywhere for a good price and finally found one.  I can not wait to see how great they turn out and how much business they generate.

I’ve been thinking about doing some market research lately for extra money.  I have had friends do it before and they say it’s fun to be in on the beginning stages of products and development of advertising.  Apparently it pays pretty decent too.  So I am going to look into it and see what is available in my area.  Seems like an interesting thing to be a part of.

I signed up for this online marketing thing last night online. I started to think about my website and what kind of traffic it’s actually getting. Our downloads have been pretty good lately, but the numbers have pretty much stayed the same for quite a while now. So, that means to me that we have developed a pretty good solid devoted fan base, but I of course want more. I have always thought about looking into to marketing and advertising things, but I have never really known where to start looking. Well I just starting searching for stuff and one of the first sites that I found ended up sounded really good. They will help me get my site out there to alot of new people and they will even help me get it knocked up in some search engines. That will help out alot. And, even though I really like my website, I know I am not a pro web designer, so I think I might have them rework some things a little bit as well. Whatever helps me get more fans is really all I care about, and I think doing this is really going to help.

It seems like now a days everybody has been using the same old search engines for years. People don’t even want to look around anymore to see if there is something better out there. I guess people are affraid of change, or are too lazy to find something that works better. That’s not how I am. I always want to look at things I have never seen or used before. At least give something a shot once. Well, I did that not too long ago. I figured when it comes to search engines there has to probably be somebody out there that is not hugely well known to the public eye, but maybe some fellow computer geeks could give me some pointing in the right direction. So, that what I did and they pointed me to SEO Company’s search engine. It’s really nice. I looked into it and they have been around for a few years now, which is plenty of time to get a site right and working nice. And, it is really nice. Some sites it seems like when I search for things that there are certain sites at the top of the lists that just don’t belong there. I have never really understood it. I guess I could ask the computer geeks again why that is, but basically I don’t care. I just want to type what I want to find into a search box, get my results and click on it and move on with me life. To me it really seems like the site is really trying to Avoid Search Engine Marketing Malpractice and I really like that. In my opinion that is how it should be. So now I’m happy that I took just a few extra minutes out of my life to look around. Just because something is well known doesn’t mean that it is the best, and that is the case here. Now, I just have to change around my bookmarks and I will be good to go.
